The Game decided to give fans a taste of his upcoming The Documentary 2 album by dropping a banger earlier this morning called “100.” Drake assists the Compton rapper on the Cardo and Johnny Juliano-produced track as they discuss the importance of keeping it real.
While The Game originally planned for the album to hit stores on his son’s birthday (June 30), the release date to the sequel of his 2005 debut album, The Documentary, is now undetermined.

Budweiser just announced the complete lineup for the 2015 Made In America music festival and it’s filled with today’s biggest and hottest musicians. This year, the queen Bey a.k.a. Beyoncé will be headlining the event along with music’s most addictive crooner, The Weeknd. The fourth annual Made in America festival will be held on Sept. 5 and 6 at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
The two-day music event will also feature big names like Fabolous, J. Cole, Future, Death Cab For Cutie, Bassnectar, Nick Jonas, De La Soul, Axwell & Ingresso, Vic Mensa, Lola Wolf, and much more.
For those who have never been to or heard of Made In America, it’s a fun-filled music event consisting of an eclectic array of artists performing on several stages at a time. The festival is sponsored by Budweiser and hip-hop music mogul Jay Z. So, whether you’re into house, pop, rap, or country this festival is perfect for music lovers of all kind. Not only does it give fans a chance to see today’s most in-demand artists up close in personal, but it also allows people to explore and redefine their musical palates.

Rick Ross was arrested Wednesday morning (June 24) outside of his Atlanta mansion for an alleged kidnapping and assault that took place on June 7, 2015. The “You Know I Got It” rapper is currently being held in Fayette County jail without bail.
According to arrest warrants issued by Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force, Ross is being held for aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and kidnapping while his bodyguard, Nadrian Lateef James is being held for aggravated battery and kidnapping. The rapper allegedly hit a man with a Glock 9mm handgun inside of a guesthouse on his Atlanta estate earlier this month. The alleged assault left the victim with chipped teeth, jaw injuries, neck injuries, and “multiple scratches and contusions.”
As for the kidnapping charges, the man was allegedly held against his will in the guesthouse, where he was forced to answer questions at gunpoint. The initial beef that led to the alleged assault has yet to be identified. This has been one eventful couple of weeks for the Mayback Music Group founder, because he was arrested on June 10 for misdemeanor marijuana charges.
Ross, 39, and James, 42, will remain in jail until July 1, when they are scheduled to appear before a superior court judge. Details of this case will be revealed as more information is made available.

Saying Taylor Swift has a way with words is an understatement. Her empowering catchy lyrics alone have earned her chart-topping success and countless awards, but it seems the “Bad Blood” singer also has a way of convincing high profile corporations to reconsider payment distributions for their artists.
On Sunday morning (June 21), Swift publicly criticized Apple in an open letter for refusing to pay royalties to artists during a 3-month trial period on their new streaming service. In less than 24-hours, the company responded to her outcry by reassuring all royalties would be paid in full during the free trial.
“I’m sure you are aware that Apple Music will be offering a free 3 month trial to anyone who signs up for the service,” said Swift in her public Tumblr post ironically titled ‘To Apple, Love Taylor.’ I’m not sure you know that Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months. I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company. ”
Apple Music recently announced the debut of their highly anticipated music streaming service this year, which will compete with other services like Spotify, Rhapsody, and Jay Z’s Tidal. Last year, Swift decided to withdraw her music from Spotify in a similar royalty dispute. The 25-year-old actress referred to Apple’s payment distribution policy as “shocking, disappointing and completely unlike this historically progressive company.”
“We don’t ask you for free iPhones,” she added. “Please don’t ask us to provide you with our music for no compensation.”
Apple’s Senior VP of Internet Software and Services spoke out about Swift’s allegations with RollingStone and confirmed a change was in the process of being made. “When I woke up and read Taylor’s note, it solidified quickly that we needed a change. Music is a big part of our DNA and we always strive to make sure artists are paid for their work.”

Swift was not only explaining why she was withholding her new 1989 album from the streaming service, she was also standing up for the smaller independent artists who might not have the opportunity to voice their opinion about Apple’s unjust policy.

Yesterday, June 21, millions of people throughout the country happily celebrated Father’s Day. Social media outlets were flooded with celebrities showing appreciation to their dads and husbands. One reality celebrity took this time to not only gush about her husband, but also revealed the sex of her bun in the oven. Kim Kardashian West announced via Twitter that her and husband Kanye West are expecting a baby boy.
Kim shared adorable pictures of Kanye spending quality time with their daughter North. In one photo, you can catch the “New Slaves” rapper giving his daughter a big kiss on the cheek and teaching her how to read in another. It’s no secret how much Kanye loves these two leading ladies in his life. Rare moments of the music mogul smiling have been captured in the past several months and these occurrences just so happen to take place when he’s surrounded by his girls.
No clues have been disclosed about the name of their bundle of joy, but according to a past tweet from Kim, it will have no relation to North or any other geographic coordinate. Is anyone else excited to see how cute this baby is going to be?
